Grace Around The World | Lutheran Social Services

Lutheran Social Services has roots going back 150 years assisting those in need through the love of Christ through health care and social services. In Southern California its official start came in 1944 in San Diego.

In Southern California LSSSC helps those with emotional, spiritual needs as well as the physical needs of clothing, food, school supplies and more.

Last summer a group of us from Missions and Service visited the Lutheran Social Service program in San Bernardino. A former church was turned into an outreach for the community there helping with the local homeless. They gave them a place to stay, feed them several times a week, had after school programs, a thrift store and a safe place to have substance abuse recovery. Visit http://www.lsssc.org to learn more.
